Job Description

Role Overview

• Position: Swimming Instructor – Part-Time

• Location: Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre, Birmingham, B14 6ER

• Contract: Part-time / Casual

• Salary: Up to £15.53 per hour + benefits

• Shifts: Early, late, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver swimming lessons for all abilities

• Ensure safety standards and correct equipment use

• Identify participant abilities and provide encouragement

• Demonstrate and correct swimming techniques

• Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive environment

Requirements

• STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2

• Strong swimmer with enthusiasm and customer service skills

• Valid RLSS UK NPLQ, NRASTC, or STA Safety advantageous (training provided if needed)

• Team player willing to support colleagues and meet targets
