Job Description

Role Overview

• Position: Lettings Assistant

• Location: Birmingham, UK

• Salary: £24,413–£24,796 per year

• Schedule: Weekday evenings, weekends, school holidays (casual/variable hours)

Responsibilities

• Undertake tasks assigned by Lettings Manager

• Ensure security of College premises

• Open/close College, gates, windows, doors, fire alarms

• Maintain grounds, gardens, litter picking, and cleanliness

• Move furniture and equipment as required

• Report repairs, maintenance, or vandalism

• Organise workload and complete tasks efficiently

• Undertake first aid, manual handling, and fire marshal training

• Liaise with emergency services when necessary

Safeguarding

• Complete annual safeguarding training

• Support child, young person, and vulnerable adult welfare

• Report concerns to the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

• Comply with MAC safeguarding policies

Health & Safety

• Follow College Health & Safety policies

• Adhere to COSHH and safety regulations

Policies & Procedures

• Comply with all relevant College policies and procedures

• Promote equal opportunities and respect diversity

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check and childcare disqualification check if applicable

• Evidence of Right to Work, medical clearance, references, and qualifications

• Fluency in English

• Ability to undergo online due diligence checks
