Job Description
Manage daily operations of Hill View Community Centre, ensuring safety, maintenance, excellent service, and supporting community activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities

Open and close the community centre as required

Prepare premises for hirers/events, including setting up and storing furniture
-
Maintain clean, safe, and secure facilities; report repairs and maintenance issues

Provide access to contractors and support on-site work
-
Serve as first point of contact for residents and visitors
-
Assist with bookings and general centre upkeep

Monitor health and safety, building systems, and escalate issues
-
Support community activities and events, contributing to successful delivery
-
Complete checklists with hirers and report concerns to Regional Coordinator
-
Induct new hirers, explain fire safety, facilities, and reporting procedures
-
Ensure centre cleanliness and maintain stock of essential supplies
-
Monitor fridge/freezer hygiene and temperatures
-
Ensure users sign Service Users Agreement and comply with guidelines
-
Update internal and external notice boards
-
Promote centre to residents, community groups, and wider public
-
Undertake training to enhance skills and effectiveness in role
-
Work collaboratively with MTVH staff and volunteers
Working Hours & Flexibility

Flexible Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM as required
