Job Description

Cleaners maintain campus spaces including offices, labs, classrooms, corridors, and toilets, ensuring hygiene, safety, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties across offices, teaching spaces, labs, toilets, corridors, and stairwells

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with campus policies

• Provide excellent customer service at all times

• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively

• Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently

• Attend statutory and refresher training as required

• Follow all health, safety, and compliance guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking attitude

• Keen eye for detail and pride in work

• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Flexible approach to work, including early morning shifts (6am–9am)

• Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equality

Working Hours

• 15 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (mainly Monday to Friday)

• Flexible working times between 6:00am–9:00am

• Permanent rolling contract, covering 52 weeks of the year including student vacation periods
