Job Overview
As a part-time Year 1 Teacher, you will teach the KS1 curriculum in a nurturing, one-form-entry primary school in Coventry for two to three days per week. Starting in the spring term and running to the end of the academic year, you will plan engaging lessons, manage a happy classroom and work closely with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging Year 1 lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Create a supportive classroom where children feel valued, safe and motivated
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and respectful routines
• Assess progress thoughtfully and provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to wider school life

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Flexible, nurturing approach with excellent classroom management
• Clear communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Availability from January to the end of the academic year, for two to three days weekly
