Expert Analysis
In 2026, the UK used vehicle market remains robust, making auction yard roles stable entry points into the automotive industry. This position is ideal for those who prefer active, outdoor work over long-distance driving. Leeds serves as a central hub for northern auctions, often seeing high-volume throughput from major fleets.
Location & Logistics Guide
Leeds hosts several major vehicle auction sites, typically located on the outskirts with easy access to the M62 and M1 corridors. These sites are massive logistical footprints where vehicle “flow” is managed by precise yard driving. Efficient yard management is key to successful auction “hammer rates.”
