The XR Stories Studio Manager will lead immersive technology initiatives, manage studio projects, and collaborate with academic, creative, and industry partners in York.
Core Job Information
Role Overview

Manage the XR Stories Studio within the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology.

Develop and implement events, workshops, and activities that explore future screen and immersive technologies.

Facilitate project proposals and ensure smooth studio operations.
Key Responsibilities
-
Collaborate with small to medium enterprises (SMEs), academics, researchers, and students.

Manage studio projects from concept to delivery.
-
Develop and maintain partnerships with industry and regional organisations.

Support creative technologists and manage technical project requirements.

Oversee project documentation, reporting, and communication.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Level 3 qualification (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience in collaboration and stakeholder relationship management.

Strong project management and data analysis abilities.

Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including use of digital communication platforms.

Technical knowledge in immersive technologies or creative production desirable.
