Requirements, Qualifications and Skills

• Proven Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively.

• Proficiency in operating Heavy Equipment to assist with construction tasks as needed.

• Strong Communication skills, particularly for liaising with teams, clients, and other stakeholders

• Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.

• Ability to work on-site in Birmingham and manage day-to-day operations.

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is highly desirable.

• Relevant certifications in health and safety are considered an asset.

In this role, you will lead from the front, overseeing daily site activities and managing a multidisciplinary team to ensure project success. Your responsibilities will bridge the gap between management and manual labor, involving everything from heavy equipment operation and carpentry to the strict enforcement of safety and compliance protocols. This is a vital position within our Birmingham operations, requiring a proactive leader who can maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders while delivering the high-quality craftsmanship Fortel is known for.
