Wholesale Coordinator

FASHION PERSONNEL

Job Summary: Wholesale Coordinator (6-Month FTC)

Fashion Personnel is recruiting a Wholesale Coordinator for a high-profile, trend-led high-street retailer based in London. This is a 6-month temporary contract designed for an organized administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be the operational backbone of the wholesale department, ensuring that global accounts receive their stock on time and that all administrative loops are closed. This is an “ASAP” start, making it ideal for someone immediately available to jump into a globally recognized fashion brand.

Requirements and Skills

  • Experience: Relevant background in a wholesale operations or fashion supply chain role.

  • Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel is essential (likely involving VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data entry for order tracking).

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy when managing delivery schedules and account data.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to proactively notify wholesale partners of any delivery issues or delays.

  • Pace: Ability to remain organized and efficient within a high-volume, trend-driven retail head office.

Role Overview

As a Wholesale Coordinator, you are the critical link between the brand’s warehouse/logistics team and its global wholesale partners. Your primary mission is account maintenance. You will monitor the lifecycle of an order from the moment it’s placed until it reaches the partner’s floor. This involves heavy daily administration, rigorous tracking of delivery windows, and “problem-solving” when shipping schedules shift. You are the professional voice of the brand for wholesale accounts, ensuring they are kept informed and their administrative needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Administration: Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks for a portfolio of global wholesale accounts.

  • Delivery Monitoring: Track and monitor complex delivery schedules to ensure high-street trends reach partners while they are still relevant.

  • Issue Resolution: Identify potential shipping delays or stock issues and communicate them clearly to the relevant accounts.

  • Data Management: Use Excel and internal systems to maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and account details.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with internal production and logistics teams to gather the most up-to-date shipping information.

Salary and Temporary Benefits

  • Pay: Competitive hourly/daily rate paid on a weekly basis.

  • Holiday: Accrued paid holiday.

  • Pension: Opportunity to join a pension scheme during the tenure.

  • Duration: 6-month temporary contract.

  • Career Growth: Exposure to a globally recognized fashion retailer, perfect for building a network in the London fashion industry.

Application Tip: The “Immediate” Advantage

Peer Note: Temporary roles in fashion move fast. Because they need someone “ASAP,” make sure your CV clearly states your notice period (or lack thereof). Highlighting your experience with order management systems (like Prima, Joor, or SAP) alongside your Excel skills will significantly increase your chances of an immediate interview.
