Job Description
Support a people-first culture and employee wellbeing as a Wellbeing HR Assistant in London with The Graduate Project’s non-profit client. In this hybrid, 12‑month fixed-term role, you’ll help shape resources, policies and events that positively impact staff across the organisation.
Role Overview
Working within a close-knit HR team, you’ll provide dedicated wellbeing and HR administration support across the organisation. You’ll coordinate wellbeing initiatives, manage sensitive casework queries, maintain accurate records and ensure processes comply with employment law and internal policy.
You’ll also play a key role in promoting wellbeing events and campaigns, liaising with external providers and internal stakeholders, and supporting financial administration related to wellbeing activities. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about HR and workplace wellbeing, looking to deepen experience in a supportive, mission-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update and maintain wellbeing resources for internal platforms and external audiences
- Monitor and respond to queries in the wellbeing inbox, escalating complex or sensitive casework appropriately
- Contribute to the review and implementation of wellbeing guidance, policies and procedures in line with employment law
- Administer wellbeing-related financial processes, including raising purchase orders and processing invoices
- Coordinate and promote wellbeing events, awareness days and training sessions across the organisation
- Liaise with external wellbeing providers and internal stakeholders to support programme delivery
- Maintain accurate records of wellbeing activity, interventions and metrics, producing basic reports as required
- Support broader HR administration and projects, ensuring accurate documentation and confidentiality
Skills and Experience
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally with CIPD Associate membership or working towards it
- Strong HR administration experience, with working knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Experience handling HR or wellbeing-related queries, including sensitive or confidential casework
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
- Genuine interest in workplace wellbeing and its impact on engagement, performance and organisational culture
- Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in a hybrid environment (2–3 days per week in the office)
