Job Description
Arcadis is a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, with over 36,000 employees in 70 countries. We are looking for a Surveys Coordinator to join our Wastewater Modelling Team. This pivotal role is designed to centralize the planning, management, and analysis of survey data, ensuring our expert modellers can focus on high-value tasks. You will be the engine room of our data collection, driving technical excellence by ensuring that the field data used for our complex hydraulic models is accurate, timely, and safe.
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Coordination: Demonstrable experience coordinating or delivering field surveys (preferably in water, wastewater, or environmental sectors).
-
Data Management: Strong analytical skills with experience handling, cleaning, and managing large datasets.
-
Contractor Liaison: Experience defining specifications and managing timelines with third-party contractors.
-
Technical Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with GIS or survey data integration platforms is highly desirable.
-
Safety: A solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements in field operations, including risk assessments.
As a Surveys Coordinator, you will manage the full lifecycle of wastewater surveys, including flow monitoring, manhole inspections, CCTV, and pumping station data collection. Your daily responsibilities involve acting as the primary liaison with survey contractors—defining clear deliverables and ensuring they meet Arcadis’s rigorous standards. You will oversee robust QA/QC processes, cleaning and analyzing datasets so they are “modeller-ready.” Beyond technical tasks, you will champion Health & Safety and standard operating procedures, identifying innovative ways to improve survey efficiency and data integration across multiple environmental projects.
