Job description
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work on a three rotating shift pattern of 06.00-14.15 (early shift), 14.00-22.15 (late shift), 22.00-06.15 (night shift).
£13.86 per hour on early and late shifts
£14.86 per hour on night shift
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the Logistics Supervisor in the day-to-day running of the company’s logistics
• To ensure tasks are carried out in an accurate and timely manner
• To cover and support yard duties as required
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Assist in flow of materials (product, paperwork, equipment) within the Warehouse and Production function
• To minimise waste and maximise productivity
• Participate in training activities, CI activities and any other nominated project work
• Adherence and contribution towards departmental KPI’s
• Complete any other reasonable task or requests made by your manager, supervisor or the Company
Essential Knowledge:
• Health and Safety
• Warehousing, Logistics & Storage Yard Operations
Essential Skills:
• Reach truck licence with minimum experience of two years is a must.
Essential Experience:
• Minimum experience of two years in Warehouse and Logistics environment
Essential Qualifications:
• Reach Truck Licence
