We have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative at our Distribution Centre in Morley.The Warehouse Operative is expected to ensure customers receive a fast and efficient response to distribution enquiries, building customer loyalty and enhancing the company’s reputation for service.Your main duties will include:Goods inwards or outwards – picking, packing, loading and off-loading vehiclesUse of warehouse equipment, including forklift truck drivingUse of computerised despatch system (SAP) to book in product, etcDaily branch proposal and continuous stock takingDay-to-day administrationThe ideal Warehouse Operative will hold the following skills and experiences:Previous warehouse experienceAbility to operate a forklift truck (Counterbalance and Pivot Steer Lift) is desirable, but not essential; training will be givenFamiliarity with computerised despatch systems (SAP) would be an advantageYou would need to enjoy working as part of a teamEffective communication skillsFull training will be provided on all product and service offerings.Your normal working hours will be based on a 42.5 hour working week, usually Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm.
