Warehouse Operative – Evenings/Nights

Incentive: £400 Sign On Bonus! (T&C’s apply)
Pay Structure: £13.70 p/h base rate plus Shift Allowance; automatic increase to £14+ after one year of service.

Role Summary

Join our team at Sysco during an instrumental expansion in Northern Ireland. As we open our brand-new Nutts Corner facility, we are seeking driven individuals to manage evening and night shift warehouse operations. Primary Duties:

Achieving or surpassing established efficiency benchmarks through engineered production standards in a high-tempo setting.
Accurately selecting and labeling outbound products while maintaining high inventory integrity.
Utilizing Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE), including electric power pallet trucks, LLOPs, or forklifts, to move stock.
Stacking pallets according to safety protocols and shrink-wrapping loads on the dock.
Conducting rigorous pre- and post-trip inspections of all assigned mechanical equipment.
Adhering strictly to HACCP policies and food safety regulations to ensure hygienic product handling.
Staging pallets at designated bay locations and assisting with the loading/unloading of vehicles.
Maintaining impeccable housekeeping and hygiene standards within your assigned department.
Operating digital tools, including handheld devices and arm-mounted terminals, for order processing.
Reporting any damages, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately to supervision.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience: Prior background in order selection within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) warehouse environment is essential.
Adaptability: Willingness to adjust start times and shift patterns to accommodate fluctuating business demands.
Physical Capability: Comfort working in cold storage environments (Freezers/Coolers) and performing repetitive manual tasks.
