**Job Purpose**
To support in the warehouse to deliver an efficient and effective assembly service, mindful of the broader aims of Better Pathways to maximise participants’ self-esteem, confidence, sense of wellbeing and their feelings of independence depending on individual basis.
The Support Officer will have responsibility for collecting products from and delivering products to customers.

• *Support for People**
– To assist in the delivery of day-to-day activities undertaken by participants across the warehouse as required
– To support participants who may need additional support
– To ensure Safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to and health and safety of staff and participants is always safeguarded
– To cover for Supervisors as appropriate
• *Workflow**
– To collect products from and deliver products to customers in accordance with a timetable agreed with Supervisors
– To load and unload the goods van using the forklift truck
– To help increase productivity on the production and assembly lines
– To alert Supervisors about any issues likely to cause an interruption to workflow and undertake actions as agreed
• *Customer Satisfaction**
– To support Supervisors to maintain the highest quality standards on all jobs
– To build good relationships with customers, ensuring that products are delivered back to customers on time
• *Facilities Management**
– To maintain a safe and tidy workshop
– To support with all shop floor equipment is regularly checked and maintained to the right standard, working with Supervisors to agree a structured programme for doing this
• *Risk and Health and Safety**
– To alert Supervisors to emerging risks and undertake mitigations as agreed
– To participate in health and safety activities and undertake actions to rectify identified issues
• *Supervision, Training and Development**
– To participate in team meetings and supervision
– To participate in appraisal and objective setting
– To undertake mandatory training
• *General Responsibilities**

• *Person Specification**
• *Essential**:
– A full, clean UK driving license
– Experience of driving box van or similar sized vehicles
– Hold a UK driving license for a minimum of 2 years
– Working with vulnerable adult
– Safeguarding experience
– Knowledge of production line and assembly work
– Quality control experience
– Good communication skills
– Excellent customer service
– Health & Safety experience
• *Desirable**:
– Forklift Truck License
– Understanding of Social Enterprises
– Experience of working in a charity setting
– Experience of working in a mental health setting
– Understanding of peer mentoring and wellbeing

Pay: £20,978.00 per year
Expected hours: 28 per week
