Duties and Responsibilities
As a Waiter/Waitress (Part Time), you will support Food & Beverage Management and ensure smooth operations:
• Take guest orders across all F&B outlets
• Deliver outstanding service at all times, following the steps and standards of service
• Greet guests on arrival and conduct check-in and welcome procedures efficiently and warmly
• Answer outlet telephones politely and professionally
• Inspect menus and wine lists for condition and availability; update as changes occur
• Act with empathy; escalate unresolved issues to Management
• Check areas prior to guest arrival ensuring cleanliness, equipment readiness, and maintenance standards
• Maintain guest recognition records, noting food preferences, allergies, and special dietary needs
• Communicate guest feedback, inquiries, and comments to management and follow up as required
• Supervise Restaurant Junior Commis, especially during opening and closing
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all outlet menus, F&B daily activities, and opening hours
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene
• Adhere strictly to LQA standards

Qualifications
To perform successfully as a Waiter/Waitress, you should have:
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma/degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury hotel F&B operations
• Advanced technical skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems including MICROS/POS platforms
• Knowledge of food and beverage terminology, operations, wine service, costing, menu development, hygiene codes, and inventory control
• Fluent English; additional languages preferred
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
