Volunteer Drivers + Assistants required for our Collection & Delivery team at Whitefriargate – Hull Charity Shop
Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteers to join our collection and delivery team at Whitefriargate Hull. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to our community while gaining valuable experience and skills.
Duties
• Driving or assisting the driver with our daily collections and deliveries. Volunteer drivers and their assistants play a vital role in ensuring that donated items reach the charity and are available for resale or distribution.
• A charity collections team volunteer helps a charity collect donated items from people’s homes, local businesses, or donation banks and deliver them to the local charity shop or distribution centre.
Skills
• Excellent customer service abilities, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and contributing positively to the team environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with diverse groups of people.
