Role Overview
We are seeking a self-assured Video Production Manager to lead our Digital Operations unit. This permanent, full-time position involves overseeing the end-to-end creation of high-caliber video, multimedia, and audio content across the entire William Reed brand portfolio. You will supervise two direct reports, optimize production workflows, and drive creative ingenuity to fulfill organizational targets and client needs. This role acts as the lead on the events calendar, ensuring project success through expert project management and the leverage of modern technology. Given our global reach, flexibility regarding working hours and international travel is essential.
Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Direct and mentor the video production unit (Senior and Assistant Video Producers), establishing clear objectives, fostering a collaborative culture, and providing the necessary support for team success.

Content Creation: Execute high-quality video production for all brands and divisions within the company.

Project Management: Act as the primary liaison for internal clients, proposing creative concepts, managing the project calendar, and overseeing stakeholder requirements.

Creative Consultancy: Advise internal partners on effective creative directions, specifically regarding animation or video approaches.

Pre-Production: Lead early-stage planning, including creative conceptualization and logistical coordination.

Capture & Editing: Oversee the recording and editing of interviews, conference sessions, and diverse engaging media formats.

Stakeholder Interaction: Facilitate and conduct interviews with key speakers, sponsors, and both internal and external stakeholders.

Remote & Location Recording: Record content on-site or via remote platforms like StreamYard using professional broadcast standards.

Technical Production: Operate broadcast-grade cameras, configure lighting and sets, and prepare all necessary equipment for live shoots.

Post-Production: Utilize Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Artlist to edit professional-grade projects to completion.

Motion Graphics: Develop animation sequences and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects independently.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the expert use and upkeep of all in-house technical kits.

Autonomy: Plan and execute shoots and edits without the need for micro-management.

Performance Tracking: Maintain high standards of communication and record performance metrics against established KPIs.
Candidate Requirements

Proven Experience: Significant history in a similar leadership role managing video projects from concept to final delivery.

Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of broadcast cameras, lighting, framing, and audio capture (mics/noise cancellation).

Software Mastery: Demonstrated skill in Adobe Premiere and After Effects; basic Photoshop skills are a plus.
