Position: Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist

Salary: £12.60 per hour plus benefits

Vets Now, the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, is seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our Manchester team. We deliver trusted services across 1700 veterinary practices and operate 60+ out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 emergency pet hospitals. This role is ideal for friendly, organised individuals who enjoy supporting clients and veterinary teams during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities
• First Point of Contact: Greet clients, answer calls, book appointments, and handle financial transactions during emergencies or routine visits.
• Administration: Manage clinic administration accurately, ensuring smooth operational flow and clear communication with veterinary staff regarding patients and clients.
• Client Support: Provide reassurance and support to clients, acting as a bridge between pet owners and veterinary professionals to ensure excellent service.

Working Pattern

Role 1:

• Week 1: Sat–Sun 17:00–23:00

• Week 2: Mon & Wed 18:00–23:00

• Week 3: Tue 17:00–23:00, Sat–Sun 09:00–16:00

• Week 4: Tue 15:00–20:00, Wed 16:00–23:00, Fri 15:00–23:00

• Includes bank holidays

Role 2:

• Week 1: Thu 07:00–14:00, Fri 07:00–15:00, Sat 11:00–18:00

• Week 2: Tue 07:00–14:00, Sat 09:00–17:00

• Week 3: Tue 07:00–16:00, Fri 07:00–13:00

• Week 4: Tue–Wed 07:00–14:00

• Includes bank holidays
