Venue Representative – Leicester

Overview

This is a UK-based position. The successful applicant will be hired into WORLDS UK-based partner company, Poseidon. All offers of employment with WORLDS are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check. We are looking for energetic people to join our team hosting the immersive show MESMERICA. You will be working as an on-site representative and company ambassador to the venue staff team and audience. This is a part-time position. MESMERICA will run at the planetarium as long as there is demand for seats. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, has customer service experience, social media knowledge, and an upbeat, positive personality.

WORLDS shows are fully immersive music and art cinematic projection shows for planetariums and giant screen theaters designed to relieve stress, evoke joy, happiness, and relaxation.
Schedule
• Shows currently scheduled for August 17, 23, 25, 31 and September 1, 3, 4, 13 and 14.
• Shifts required from 4:30pm to 10:00pm.
Responsibilities
• Set up and take down lobby setup, including signage, check-in table, and merchandise.
• Welcome and check in audiences, answer guests’ questions.
• Manage merchandise inventory and sales.
• Facilitate events to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Provide suggestions on how we can improve.
• Communicate in a timely manner with the Venue Operations team.

Great communication skills are a MUST for this position.
