Duties
• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries and other specialised transport equipment
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Deliver goods efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, utilising warehouse experience when necessary
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
• Perform basic mechanical checks and report any vehicle issues promptly
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols during daily operations
• Support warehouse activities as required, including stock organisation and inventory management
Skills
• Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, preferably with driver licences for vehicles or similar
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to road regulations
• Mechanical knowledge to identify common vehicle issues and perform basic troubleshooting
• Experience with flatbed lorries or specialised transport equipment is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, dispatchers, and team members
• Warehouse experience is beneficial for handling cargo efficiently
• Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
