Job Description
EY is seeking a high-caliber UK Super Region Alliance Sales Executive – Microsoft to join the UKI CTO Office at the Director level. This is a high-impact, market-facing role focused on the commercial synergy between EY and Microsoft. You will act as the “commercial catalyst,” driving revenue through complex “Sell With” motions and managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle within one of the world’s most influential technology ecosystems.

Core Mission: To originate, shape, and close joint sales opportunities that leverage Microsoft’s technology and EY’s consulting expertise.
Key Pillars of Responsibility
1. Opportunity Origination & Sales Leadership
You will be relentless in identifying and qualifying new business. This involves navigating large, matrixed organizations to find “alliance-enabled” opportunities where Microsoft’s cloud and software solutions can solve complex client problems.

Own the sales cycle from lead identification to final contract signature.

Manage a structured, visible sales pipeline via CRM.

Take accountability for deal registration and securing partner funding/subsidies.
2. Technical & Commercial Subject Matter Expertise
As a Director-level seller, you must maintain a deep understanding of Microsoft’s evolving product suite (Azure, D365, M365, AI/Copilot) and how these integrate with EY’s service lines.

Support pursuit teams in selecting the right technical options for client issues.

Apply knowledge of partner pricing models to structure innovative, value-based deals.
3. Ecosystem & Relationship Management
You are the face of Microsoft within EY and the primary advocate for EY within Microsoft’s field sales teams.

Build “intimate” relationships with Microsoft’s field sellers to ensure EY is their partner of choice.

Coach EY consulting teams on alliance-led commercial techniques.

Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and joint marketing events.
Required Experience & Skills

Proven Sales Track Record: Extensive experience in B2B solution sales, specifically carrying and hitting a quota in a professional services or tech environment.

Hyperscaler Expertise: Significant experience selling alongside Microsoft (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud.

Complex Deal Structuring: Ability to manage high-pressure, cross-functional teams and lead “storytelling” for compelling joint value propositions.

Strategic Fluency: Comfortable operating between large, matrixed global organizations and understanding Enterprise Architecture.

Sales Methodology: Knowledge of formal frameworks such as MEDDIC, Miller Heiman, or Challenger Sales.
