Job description

The Professional Squash Association (PSA) is looking for a motivated Tour Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This is a prime opportunity for someone eager to break into the professional sports industry. Based in our central office in The Calls, you’ll work behind the scenes of a global sport that features over 1,400 players and 1,000 annual tournaments. You’ll be part of a synergistic group—spanning media, charity, and governance—all dedicated to elevating squash on the world stage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Providing information to players regarding events, accommodation and visa letters etc.

  • Communicating information to promoters regarding events, event deadlines and chasing tournament information etc.

  • Liaising with the PSA’s official squash ball partner to co-ordinate the timely delivery of squash balls to events.

  • Event administration, including processing new events, payments, event registration and prize money payments in our bespoke CRM database.

  • Leading on the registration and administration of Satellite and Federation events.

  • The processing and approval of memberships including new member payments, renewals and general database administration.

  • Maintaining and developing office systems including filing, printing, photocopying.

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling enquiries professionally.

  • Answer and direct telephone calls, draft and compose e-mails, memos and letters.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in an administrative role

  • A passion for sport and ideally squash

  • Well organised, efficient, with the ability to use initiative

  • Good working knowledge of basic computer packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Can-do attitude and self-motivated individual

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and good organising skills
