Heavy Vehicle Technician Trainee

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to participate in our HGV Technician training program.
About the Role:
• Assist with vehicle repairs, adhering to industry standards and utilizing specialized tools when necessary.
• Aid in fault diagnosis processes.
• Learn and comply with warranty procedures during repairs and post-repair processes.
• Collaborate with the parts team to ensure accurate replacement part installation.
• Develop proficiency in using Volvo special tools efficiently and safely.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean workshop environment.
• Ensure all defects are reported to the workshop supervisor.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Regularly attend college courses, achieving the required standards.
Training Opportunities:

Training is conducted on-site and through block releases at Remit’s Heavy Vehicle Academy in Derby. The entire 32-month program consists of 18 blocks. Accommodation, food, and travel costs will be covered by the employer.
