Technical Advisor (Heating Systems) – Office-Based

An established heating systems manufacturer is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Advisor to join their office-based support team. This is a permanent position, offering a structured Monday to Friday schedule (39.5 hours/week).

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in installing and maintaini

ng domestic heating systems, now looking to transition into a technical support environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for engineers, installers, and homeowners, providing expert guidance on fault diagnosis, warranty issues, and system design.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide live technical support to engineers/installers on-site, diagnosing faults and offering solutions
• Allocate warranty jobs and liaise with customer service for scheduling
• Handle complaints with diplomacy and professionalism
• Maintain accurate call logs and technical records in the database
• Respond to technical queries via email
• Monitor fault trends and escalate recurring issues to internal teams
• Input job sheets and manage digital filing systems
• Advise engineers, contractors, architects, and the public on heating and hot water system requirements
• Support colleagues with technical and design-related queries
