Tech Lead (Shopify)

Role: Technical Lead (Shopify)

Location: Remote – UK Only

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 – Plus benefits

We’re looking for a Shopify Technical Lead to join a growing digital team working on high-impact eCommerce builds. You’ll lead development across Shopify Plus projects, guide a talented team of developers, and help shape the technical direction for ambitious brands scaling online.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading technical delivery across Shopify builds and new feature development

• Setting technical direction, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices are followed

• Work with product, design, and architecture to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions

• Driving quality, documentation, and DevOps standards (CI/C, environment setup)

What you’ll bring:

• 3 years’ experience developing on Shopify / Shopify Plus

• Strong skills in Liquid, HTML, JavaScript

• Experience integrating APIs and third-party services

• Understanding of performance optimisation, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser testing

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and modern theme build tools (Vite.js, Webpack)

• A collaborative mindset and confidence to guide both technical and non-technical discussions
