This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach Key Stage 4 students and inspire them through rhythmic performance and musicality.

Focus: Performance skills, GCSE coursework, and graded exam preparation.
Skills and Qualifications

Drumming Specialist: A strong passion for drumming with the ability to engage and motivate secondary school students.

Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching drums, particularly in preparing students for graded exams or GCSE performance coursework.

Curriculum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the GCSE Music performance requirements and a willingness to align lessons with the UK National Curriculum.

Lesson Planning: Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the specific needs and skill levels of Key Stage 4 learners.

Communication: Effective delivery of lessons and the ability to provide constructive, growth-oriented feedback.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality drum tuition to small groups or individual students within the KS4 cohort.

Prepare students for the performance components of their Music GCSE, ensuring they meet the required technical standards.

Support students in understanding rhythm, notation, and ensemble performance.

Track student progress and contribute to the collaborative environment of the Music Department.
