Swanlea School is a high-performing, Ofsted “Outstanding” 11–18 mixed comprehensive school located in the vibrant heart of Tower Hamlets. We are looking for a passionate Teacher of History to join our dynamic Humanities faculty on a part-time basis (0.6). The successful candidate will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a good honours degree • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice • Have high expectations of student achievement and behaviour • Be committed to inclusive education and raising standards for all learners • Work collaboratively within a supportive and ambitious team • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and strong communication skills
