Wilmslow High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Geography to join our dynamic and high-performing department. As a large, 11-18 secondary school with a flourishing Sixth Form, we pride ourselves on a culture of “high challenge, low threat,” where every student is empowered to reach their full potential. This permanent, full-time role is an exceptional opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner to work within a research-driven environment that values professional learning and collaborative curriculum design.
About the Role

Salary: £32,916 to £51,048 (Main or Upper Pay Range)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Geography education that inspires curiosity and a lifelong interest in the subject.

Teach a broad curriculum across all key stages, demonstrating strong subject knowledge and professionalism.

Contribute to the development of a well-structured, engaging curriculum in collaboration with the Geography team.

Use reflective practice to continuously improve teaching standards and student outcomes.
