Key Responsibilities

Instruction: Teaching Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Lesson Planning: Creating and delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire students.

Assessment: Monitoring and supporting student progress.

Collaboration: Working effectively within the school’s department and wider team.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Training
-
Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Background: Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

Compliance: Must undergo or possess a valid Enhanced DBS check.

Safeguarding: Mandatory completion of Child Protection and Prevent Duty training (provided for free).
Skills & Attributes

Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of Food Technology curriculum and practical application.

Classroom Management: Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively.
