Standish Community High School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Teacher of Computer Science to join our team on a part-time basis (0.4 FTE). This is a one-year fixed-term position commencing on 1st September 2026. As a school committed to excellence, we are looking for a self-motivated educator who can provide exceptional support and guidance to our students while delivering a rigorous and engaging computing curriculum.

Role Overview

• Contract: Part-time (0.4 FTE), Fixed Term for one year.

• Start Date: 1st September 2026.

• Location: Standish Community High School (with potential occasional requirements to work across the Mosaic Learning Trust).

• Closing Date: Monday 23rd February 2026 at 9:00 a.m.

• Interviews: Week commencing 2nd March 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that challenge and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Student Guidance: Provide exceptional pastoral care and academic guidance, contributing to the school’s “support and care” ethos.

• Collaboration: Work effectively within the department and the wider Mosaic Learning Trust to share best practices and resources.

• Excellence in Practice: Maintain a strong determination to achieve excellence in student outcomes and classroom engagement.
