Tailor

As a Tailor, you play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of garment alterations and creations to meet the standards and specifications set by the organization.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Perform minor repairs and alterations to colleagues’ uniforms, ensuring a polished and professional appearance for all staff members.
• Repair and adjust curtains and draperies in the Hotel to uphold upholstery standards.
• Maintain a daily log report detailing all repairs and alteration work carried out.
• Manage and report maintenance needs for sewing machines, communicate sewing supplies requirements to the Linen Room Supervisor, and uphold cleanliness and orderliness in the tailoring area.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of fabrics and materials in stock within the Hotel.
• Address small alterations for Guest clothing, such as button replacements, as requested by the laundry.
• Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.
• Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
