Administrative Manager Position
This role is for an experienced Administrative Manager to support senior directors and a team of approximately 40 people. The successful candidate will work in our city centre office, providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring an outstanding experience for clients, staff, and visitors.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a team in a
fast-paced environment, with excellent organisational and communication skills. They will be able to pre-empt issues or problems before they arise and work closely with senior directors in finding solutions.This is a busy and varied role that requires experience managing a busy office, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building working relationships with peers across our client organisations as well as the wider network.
The key responsibilities of this role include being the main point of contact when senior directors are unavailable, maintaining key relationships with counterpart EAs/PAs at client offices, and proactively managing senior directors’ calendars and responding accordingly to diary / calendar changes.
Other key responsibilities include managing business-sensitive information in a professional manner, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting other EAs across the organisation during times of leave or sickness.
The Administrative Manager will also be responsible for critical management of the office environment, conference room and visitor management, and dealing with incoming post in line with company policies.
Key Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment with demonstratable exceptional communication and organisation skills.
• Demonstrated history of managing a busy office.
• Advanced MS Outlook skills are essential (proficient use of email, calendar, internet and intranet).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), using Word at an advanced level.
• Exceptional attention to detail and superior organisational skills in pursuing and completing, to full resolution and satisfaction, multiple and overlapping tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional demeanour.
• Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
