Job Description

Help people stay independent in their own homes as a Part-Time Support Worker with Support at Home in Liverpool. You’ll build regular, trusted relationships with a small group of clients, offering practical help, companionship and personal care on a rota that genuinely suits you.

Role Overview

You’ll visit clients in their own homes across Liverpool, providing day-to-day support tailored to each person’s needs and preferences. With full training provided and a chosen availability pattern, you’ll focus on consistent visits, safe care and strong relationships rather than rushed, back-to-back calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support in clients’ homes, including personal care, prompts and practical help
• Offer companionship, conversation and emotional reassurance during each visit
• Assist with light household tasks and simple meal prep where required
• Follow individual care plans and record brief, accurate visit notes
• Build continuity with the same clients wherever possible, strengthening trust and routine
• Travel between calls safely and on time, representing the service professionally

Hours and Pay

• Part-time, permanent role (typically under 25 hours per week)
• You choose your availability; the team aims to build and keep a rota you’re happy with
• Hourly pay from £12.60 to £14.70, depending on qualifications
• Monthly pay, with a travel contribution and holiday pay
• Work phone provided and full training included
