The Opportunity

We seek conscientious individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing the best experience for patients and their families. Available roles include Domestic Assistants, Caterers, Porters, Maintenance Technicians, as well as essential Estates & Facilities positions such as electricians, plumbers, engineers, fire safety, waste management, and car parking.

We also offer technical and non-technical apprenticeships, including electrician and administration pathways, with clear development opportunities and support to achieve qualifications.

All roles include access to personal development planning, extensive training, and opportunities for career progression. Many colleagues who started as Domestic Assistants or Porters have advanced to senior management positions.

Joining MFT ensures your work has a direct impact on patients and the wider community. Depending on your role, you may interact with patients, but in all cases, your contribution makes a positive difference.

• 10 Days Paid Special Leave for active Reservists for training and annual camps.
• 5 Days Paid Special Leave for Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) for training and camps.

• Dedicated work experience placements (subject to Covid restrictions).
