Job Description
Bring colour, creativity and leadership to the shop floor as a Supervisor at Smiggle’s Sutton store. You’ll energise the team, delight every child (and grown-up) who walks in, and help the Store Manager drive sales, standards and fun in equal measure.
Role Overview
On a 24‑hour permanent contract, you’ll be a key part of the store leadership team. You’ll support day‑to‑day operations, coach Sales Assistants, own key tasks when the Store Manager is away, and ensure every visit feels playful, positive and perfectly Smiggle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the induction, training and day‑to‑day guidance of new and existing Sales Assistants
- Partner with the Store Manager to develop product knowledge, selling skills and motivation across the team
- Lead daily briefs in the Manager’s absence, sharing targets, priorities and celebrations
- Deliver joyful, personalised service and set the standard for every customer interaction
- Make sure Visual Merchandising reflects current briefs and brand guidelines
- Oversee stock control processes: line counts, stocktake prep, daily checks and participation in stocktakes
- Help achieve and exceed store sales, KPI and service targets in a fast‑paced environment

- Confident multitasker who can support the team while keeping an eye on sales and KPIs
- Highly motivated, energetic and positive, with a resilient “can‑do” attitude
- Comfortable with frequent visual and promotional changes and able to adapt quickly
