Victoria College of Arts and Design (VCAD) is seeking a Student Information Support Officer to join our Manchester campus. As a key member of the Student Services team, you will act as the first point of contact for students, guiding them through the academic, personal, and career-related challenges of higher education. With a salary of £24,000 to £27,000, this role is perfect for an empathetic, organized professional who is passionate about the creative industries and dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where students can thrive from enrollment to graduation.
Key Responsibilities

Student Advisory: Serve as the primary contact for enquiries via email, phone, and in-person, providing tailored support on university life and wellbeing.

Progress Monitoring: Track student attendance and academic behavior, proactively intervening to ensure students stay on the path to success.

Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate and confidential student records and produce regular reports for VCAD and partner universities.

Community Engagement: Facilitate workshops and events designed to boost student engagement and build a vibrant campus community.

Policy Compliance: Ensure all student interactions and support interventions align with university policies and procedures.
Requirements

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience: Proven background in student services or a similar role within Higher (HE) or Further Education (FE).

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse student body.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing student information systems.

Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to support campus events.
