Position: Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Indirect Categories)
Overview:
Procurement – Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Indirect Categories) – FTSE 100 Financial Services Firm – London (Hybrid: 1–2 Days per Week) – £55,000–£65,000 + Bonus + Package
Join a prestigious, multi-billion-pound FTSE 100 Financial Services firm currently undergoing rapid global expansion. With significant investment flowing into its award-winning, best-in-class Sourcing Hub, the firm has created a new opportunity for an ambitious Strategic Sourcing Specialist to help shape the future of procurement across key indirect categories.
You’ll be part of a fast-growing, high-impact team, receiving one-to-one mentorship from senior leaders and benefiting from a structured development programme designed to fast-track you to management within 12–18 months. This is an outstanding opportunity to make your mark and help transform largely untapped spend areas.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies aligned with global business goals

Lead supplier relationship management to drive performance, compliance, and value creation
-
Specialise in HR, Marketing, and Travel categories, with opportunities for additional areas such as Facilities Management
-
Conduct market research and identify innovative, cost-effective sourcing options
-
Champion the adoption of digital procurement tools, including AI-powered platforms for data-driven decisions
-
Embed ESG, Carbon Reduction, and DE&I initiatives into sourcing strategies
-
Build long-term strategic partnerships with suppliers to unlock innovation and competitive advantage

Report to the Procurement & Supplier Management Director and gain exposure to a team of procurement experts
Required Skills & Experience:
-
3–5 years’ experience in Indirect Procurement across multiple sub-categories
-
Demonstrable experience in strategic, commercially focused procurement
-
Proven track record managing end-to-end procurement processes across multiple projects
-
Experience in professional services or financial services environment desirable
-
Degree from a respected academic institution
-
Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier contracts, procurement frameworks, and negotiation
-
Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and legal specialists
