Duties
• Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking, maintaining high-quality standards in all dishes served.
• Manage food production processes, including inventory control and stock management.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
• Monitor kitchen operations to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Participate in menu planning, costing, and portion control to optimise profitability while maintaining quality.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant setting, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position.
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
