As a fundamental component of the Operations leadership, the Site Production Manager will hold responsibility for sustaining quality management frameworks, maximizing facility throughput, and guaranteeing total adherence to corporate protocols and legal health and safety mandates.

The Position of Site Production Manager:
In this capacity, you will serve as a vital pillar of the site’s Operations unit, with a direct reporting line to the UK Operations Director. This position involves extensive collaboration with various domestic functions, such as Stock Control, Customer Service, and Sales, while also interfacing with Regulators, Auditors, and External Clients.
The Site Production Manager will assume total leadership and responsibility for manufacturing workflows across UK sites to facilitate the secure, consistent, and lucrative attainment of commercial goals. The position ensures that quality assurance systems are upheld and managed so that industrial output is maximized within the constraints of regulatory mandates and company policy.
Key Duties:

Formulate, direct, and deploy operational roadmaps and strategies for every manufacturing zone in partnership with the Operations Director and key stakeholders.

Maintain responsibility for creating, obtaining authorization for, and executing departmental financial plans for OEE, capital projects, and operating expenditures.

Exhibit unwavering dedication to and model excellence in health, safety, environmental, sustainability, and quality (HSEQ&S) standards.

Engage actively as a primary member of the Site Management collective and assist the UK Operations Director in evolving the cGMP and HSEQS organizational climate.

Foster and sustain high-level communication and professional ties with internal departments, external clients, and technical teams.

Partner with the UK Operations Director to regulate budgets according to corporate standards and collaborate with Engineering Managers on cross-company Capex initiatives.

Advocate for and lead a philosophy of ongoing refinement across all manufacturing and site sectors.
Required Background and Qualifications:

A career history of at least 10 years within the Chemical Manufacturing sector.

An Undergraduate Degree in Chemical Engineering or a matching scientific discipline.

No less than 5 years of Senior Leadership experience (oversight of other managers or SLT membership).

Prior professional exposure to Upper-Tier COMAH facilities.

Comprehensive expertise in Process Safety Management.
