Site Labourer — Reliable, Full‑Time Temporary Role

Job Description

Join a busy construction site team in Liverpool as a Site Labourer, working full-time on a temporary basis. You’ll keep work areas safe and organised, support skilled trades and help projects run smoothly by pitching in wherever practical help is needed.

Role Overview

Reporting to the site supervisor, you’ll carry out general labouring tasks including moving materials, clearing debris, assisting trades and following health and safety instructions. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role with weekly pay and the potential for ongoing work for reliable performers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with basic tasks, fetching tools and materials as required
• Load, unload and move materials safely around site
• Keep work areas, access routes and welfare facilities clean and tidy
• Follow site health and safety rules, using PPE at all times
• Help set up and dismantle temporary structures, barriers and signage
• Support with waste segregation and skips, maintaining a safe working environment
• Report hazards, near misses and incidents promptly to supervisors

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a general labourer or in a similar construction role preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet all day
• Punctual, dependable and able to follow instructions accurately
• Basic understanding of site health and safety practices
• Able to work well in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
• Right to work in the UK and able to commute reliably to Liverpool sites
