Requirements and Skills

• Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations or the equivalent NVQ and Building Services maintenance.

• 18th Edition BS7671 City and Guilds.

• Demonstrate relevant knowledge of Air conditioning, UPS, Generators, LV systems.

• Ability to fault find using the production of graphical information and the utilisation of current alarm data.

Role Overview

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of a continental shift, overseeing the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to complex building systems. You are responsible for ensuring all electrical plant faults are swiftly remedied while maintaining a zero-disruption environment for critical business assets. Beyond technical execution, you will manage reactive work processes, oversee spare parts inventory, and utilize CAFM systems like Concept or Smart Hub to ensure data accuracy. Your leadership will ensure that all safety protocols, risk assessments, and plant room standards are strictly upheld to maintain the facility’s elite status.
