Senior Staff Nurse / Midwife (Neonatal)

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse or Midwife to join our Level 2 Neonatal Unit at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. This permanent role is a key part of our mission to deliver compassionate, family-integrated care within one of the UK’s largest healthcare systems. You will play a pivotal role in supporting infants and their families through their neonatal journey, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.


Core Requirements and Skills

  • First level nursing or midwifery qualification (appropriate part of NMC Register relevant to area).

  • A minimum of 2 years post registration experience.

  • Neonatal Qualification in Speciality.

  • Evidence of continuing professional development equivalent.

  • Ability to work within a Multi-disciplinary Team Setting.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Positive professional manner and attitude.

  • Flexible to suit the demands of the service.
