– Strong programming expertise in C++14 or higher, with extensive experience using Visual Studio for development, debugging, and performance optimization.

– Solid unit test skills using tools such as MS Test Framework.
– Experience in interpreting and managing requirements through IBM DOORS, maintaining full traceability from definition to verification.
– Proven ability to work closely with other teams (e.g., systems), translating requirements into technical deliverables and ensuring alignment with project goals.
– Demonstrates ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong peer reviewing skills (source code and documentation).

– Engage in embedded software development within an integrated project team focused on electronic warfare systems.
– Create high quality and robust designs and code.
– Fully document and record work products while keeping them under configuration management.

– We are looking for experienced C++ Senior/Principal Software Engineers to join our team on a permanent basis in Luton.
– Ideal candidates will have experience delivering software within Agile and DevOps frameworks and will actively contribute to sprint meetings.
– Practical exposure to Continuous Integration (CI) environments and automated build and test pipelines is desirable.
– A working knowledge of Azure DevOps for pipeline creation, build orchestration, and release management is beneficial.
– Familiarity with DO-178C standards for safety-critical software development in aerospace and defense domains is a plus.
– Confidence in presenting technical material to a wide range of stakeholders in discussions, technical reviews, and cross-functional collaborations is expected.
– Applicants should hold an honours degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or another STEM-based subject and must have UK citizenship, as it is mandatory to clear the background checks and obtain SC clearance. Current valid SC clearance is considered an advantage.
