Clio, the global leader in legal AI technology, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Sharedo engineering team in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. You will work on an innovative case management platform serving the legal, energy, and property sectors. This role is perfect for a seasoned developer who balances deep technical expertise in the .NET ecosystem with a curiosity for modern tech like Svelte.js and AI-driven development. What you’ll work on

Full-Stack Development: Building features using C#, .NET, and modern frontend tools (Svelte.js).
High-Performance Data: Writing and optimizing hand-crafted SQL queries and utilizing ElasticSearch for complex data projections.
Modern Architecture: Designing event-driven workflows with Event Store and modernizing the platform to .NET 8+.
Infrastructure & DevOps: Automating deployments using Pulumi and Azure DevOps within containerized environments.
Engineering Excellence: Leading architecture discussions and code reviews to maintain clean, maintainable codebases.

What you may have

5+ Years Experience: Varied background in software engineering, ideally with scalable or distributed systems.
C#/.NET Expertise: Strong grasp of async/await, memory management, and resource handling.
SQL Mastery: Deep knowledge of SQL Server, including execution plans, indexing, and performance tuning.
Frontend Proficiency: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and JavaScript.
AI & Craft: A keen interest in using AI tools to improve your development workflow.
