Inizio Medical, the global leader in healthcare communications, is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our growing Data & AI team. In this remote-first role, you will build the backend foundations for next-generation healthcare applications, including systems that leverage generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). We aren’t necessarily looking for an AI expert—we are looking for a software engineering powerhouse who writes clean, testable code and understands how to operate production-grade SaaS platforms at scale. Key Responsibilities

• API & Service Design: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Python services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• AI Integration: Build orchestration layers and inference services that integrate LLM capabilities into real-world healthcare tools.

• Cloud-Native Engineering: Own production concerns including logging, monitoring, and performance optimization within AWS or Azure environments.

• DevOps & CI/CD: Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and containerized deployments to ensure reliable, high-velocity delivery.

• Collaborative Architecture: Work alongside data scientists and product teams to translate complex scientific requirements into technical solutions.

About You

Essential Skills:

• Python Mastery: Deep knowledge of Python fundamentals, application architecture, and performance tuning.

• Backend Expertise: Significant experience building production-grade services and integrating with third-party APIs.

• Modern Infrastructure: Solid understanding of containers (Docker), microservices, and cloud-based architectures.

• Quality Focused: A strong advocate for clean code, comprehensive testing, and clear technical documentation.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to data orchestration tools like Airflow or platforms like Databricks.

• Experience in high-compliance or regulated domains such as Healthcare or Life Sciences.

• Familiarity with Generative AI patterns (RAG, prompt engineering, etc.).
