JLL is seeking a highly motivated Surveyor or Senior Surveyor (0–5 years PQE) to join our market-leading Valuation & Advisory team. Based in either our Birmingham or Nottingham office, you will focus on the fast-paced Industrial & Logistics sector, one of the top-performing asset classes in global real estate. This role is a prime opportunity for an ambitious professional to manage a diverse range of valuation assignments while leveraging JLL’s global platform to accelerate their career development within a collaborative and high-energy environment.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field.

A Registered Valuer, preferably with relevant experience in commercial real estate valuation and with any experience in the industrial and logistics sector being a bonus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Should ideally have some experience of Argus Enterprise and possibly Argus Developer and the approach to DCF valuations, but with extensive training provided on the software JLL utilises.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality appraisal reports for a variety of critical purposes, including multi-million pound acquisitions, financing, and year-end financial reporting. Your daily impact involves conducting deep-dive market research, performing site inspections of prime industrial assets, and utilizing advanced valuation software to execute complex financial modeling and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis. Beyond the technicalities, you will act as a key point of contact for clients, collaborating with senior specialists to identify new business opportunities and craft compelling proposals. JLL provides extensive software training and a flexible hybrid-working model, ensuring you have the tools and environment needed to master the nuances of the logistics sector and drive superior results for our global client base.
