How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Data Mastery: Perform and check complex calculations, utilizing advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas) to manage large datasets.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams through clear email, phone, and meeting communications.

  • Technical Oversight: Prepare detailed client reports and member correspondence, ensuring all work aligns with specific scheme rules and GMP (Guaranteed Minimum Pension) regulations.

  • Process Improvement: Participate in post-project reviews to identify efficiencies and help evolve the team’s delivery standards.

About You

  • Technical Background: Essential experience in occupational pension schemes, specifically within Defined Benefit (DB) and Final Salary environments.

  • Analytical Mindset: A logical approach to problem-solving and strong numeracy skills are vital.

  • Communication: Ability to translate complex pension calculations and legislative jargon into simple, actionable terms for stakeholders.

  • Software Proficiency: High confidence in Microsoft Excel and Word (including mail merges and report generation).

  • Right to Work: You must have the existing right to work in the UK.

Compensation & Benefits

Gallagher provides a robust “Total Rewards” package designed to support your financial, physical, and social wellbeing:

  • Financial Security: DC Pension scheme with employer contributions, Life Insurance (4x salary), and an Employee Stock Purchase plan.

  • Health & Wellbeing: Private medical insurance, health cash plan, and discounted gym memberships at over 3,000 locations.

  • Work-Life Balance: Minimum 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and buy-back options) and emergency back-up family care.

  • Social Impact: Three fully paid volunteering days per year.

Inclusion, Diversity, and Professional Landscape

Gallagher is Disability Confident Committed and an accredited Living Wage employer. Our commitment to I&D reflects the evolving demographics of the UK financial and professional services sector:

  • Industry Representation: According to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), women make up approximately 45% of the total financial services workforce, though representation in senior roles is closer to 25-30%.
