Engage deeply with the shifting market, keeping a thorough grasp of rival and auxiliary technologies to effectively differentiate Snowflake’s position.
-
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing departments to steadily refine Snowflake’s offerings and outreach strategies.
On Day One, We Will Expect You To Have:

A decade or more of experience in architectural design and data engineering within corporate environments.
-
Minimum of 5 years working in a pre-sales capacity, such as a Solutions Engineer or Architect.
-
Exceptional delivery skills for both specialist and executive viewers, whether utilizing whiteboards or formal software demonstrations.
-
Capacity to link a client’s unique commercial challenges to Snowflake’s technical answers.
-
Proficiency in performing thorough audits of a client’s existing architectural setups to integrate them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

Practical coding skills in languages and tools like SQL, Python, Pandas, Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, or Hive.
-
Thorough knowledge of data movement services and utilities for constructing ETL/ELT flows, including Matillion, Fivetran, Qlik, or Informatica.
-
Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis and real-time scenarios like Change Data Capture (CDC).
-
History of designing functional data lakehouse models and working with formats like Iceberg, Delta, and Parquet.
-
Robust architectural mastery in data engineering to lead discussions with business heads and handle technical inquiries on the fly.
-
