Job Summary: Senior Community & Events Fundraiser

As a Senior Community and Events Fundraising Officer, you will join the high-energy Mass Engagement department at their Canary Wharf headquarters. Requirements and Skills

Partnership Management: Proven ability to manage and grow fundraising partnerships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

New Business Development: Experience identifying and securing new business opportunities and employee fundraising initiatives.

Event Management: Expertise in delivering corporate and community events (e.g., Dragon Boat races, volunteer-led networks).

Stewardship: Ability to create and deliver excellent supporter journeys that drive long-term engagement and retention.

Digital Campaigns: Support for virtual products like “Walk for Water” and “Swim Marathon,” including resource development.

Collaboration: Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, spending at least 40% of time in the London office or at external events.

Role Overview
This is a multi-faceted role that sits at the intersection of corporate partnership and community action. You will lead on SME engagement, designing stewardship journeys that turn employee groups into dedicated fundraisers. Beyond the office, you will be the driving force behind established events like Sing for Water and the Dragon Boat Race, while also managing the 4Water volunteer network. You will also play a key role in the “digital engine room,” helping to scale virtual products by creating the messaging and resources that inspire supporters to walk, swim, or give up their favorite drinks for clean water.
Key Responsibilities

SME & Employee Fundraising: Own the relationship with small/medium corporate partners, from the initial “pitch” to ongoing employee engagement.

Event Stewardship: Manage the logistics and participant journeys for flagship corporate and volunteer-led events.

Virtual Product Support: Deliver high-quality supporter journeys for mass-participation virtual campaigns (e.g., Walk for Water).

Volunteer Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for the 4Water volunteer network to ensure they are equipped and motivated.

Resource Creation: Develop the physical and digital fundraising packs and assets needed to empower communities and companies.
Salary and Benefits

Salary: £39,358 – £41,325 per annum.

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week).
